My sister just sent my this card through the post. On the back there is a paragraph written by the artist about his practice and some of the things he says link perfectly to my essay quote.
"I love the immediacy of linocut prints, and the fact that you have to take risks when creating prints with lino-cutting. There is no going back! I also find that the lino has a life of its own and you're never completely in control of the process, which keeps me on my toes."
